640R Loader on a 6R 165 Tractor

The loader base harness is now factory installed on all 620R, 640R, 660R and 680R Loaders. This unlocks loader options and makes field installation a breeze. This harness connects one, two, or all three field options: loader lights, loader suspension (LSS) and Hydraulic Implement Unlock [HIU].

The R-Series Loaders provide several options to enhance operator experience and productivity in the field. Individual options can be ordered to fit an operation’s unique set of needs. Some of the available loader options include:

600R Loader with light-emitting diode (LED) lights

Daylight hours change but the work does not. To enhance visibility, LED lights are on each side of the loader boom and assist in a various low-light loader applications. Installation time is improved with the loader harness installed and ready for this kit. To further improve installation time by ordering tractor options to have the tractor include the loader light switch and harness installed to the multicoupler with loader ready packages.

Hydraulic remote implement latch improves operator efficiency

HIU is great time-saving feature that is easy to use from the comfort of the cab. The in-cab switch activates stored oil and pushes the unlock handle on the carrier. To reconnect, simply align the carrier, connect to the implement as normal, and the carrier automatically relocks when implement is connected. Operators can still use the manual handle to unlock the carrier if they are already out of the cab. There is no longer a need to go up and down from the tractor just to change implements. HIU can save time if multiple implement changes are part of normal operations. The HIU option has no maintenance and is easy to install during pre-delivery. Loader field kit installation time is improved with the loader harness installed and ready.

NOTE: If implements have hydraulic functions, then the hose connection still needs to be unhooked by hand (example, a grapple bucket).

Loader Suspension System (LSS)

The LSS improves operator comfort and loader efficiency during loader operation. This system is easily activated by the operator from the joystick. When activated, the LSS absorbs the shock, providing a smoother ride in the cab as well as reducing material loss from the bucket. Installation time is improved with the loader harness installed. This kit is nicely packaged within the torque tube of the loader frame, staying clear of any debris and damage.
